Somehow this post got lost in February.
Jordan took four of his top students to Jr. High All State. They had a good time, Jordan was proud of them.
Hayden Finch, Emily Konopnicki, Ashley Clement, and Xander Blake
The choir did a neat thing in February with the accapella group Eclipse. Jody Peck organized the whole event- she approached Jordan in the summer about doing a great fundraiser, inviting Eclipse. They went to work on it, and the results were great! They made it possible for Taste of Sound to order new uniforms! The students who sold the most tickets were able to eat dinner with the group before the concert. The choir moms put on the beautiful dinner!
The lobby was packed as you can see. It was a GREAT turn out!
Soon after the concert, Jordan took Bel Canto and Taste of Sound to Flagstaff for the NAU Jazz Mad festival. Both groups did great! They received a Superior for their Madrigal set and then Vocal Ocho also received a Superior (with distinction!) for the jazz set! Jordan has figured this out:) Paris Rutherford was their clinician. He's a big deal in the jazz world!
One of the nights they were there, the kids went ice skating (kind of a choir party with Snowflake High School).
They had a blast!
Five Guys for lunch- best burgers ever!
Our beautiful plaques hanging on the wall.
