Jaxon's Jammies

Jaxon got some new jammies this week and he LOVES them, so we decided to do a little photo shoot. His cousin, Kevincito is already Batman, so we decided he most definitely had to be Superman!! He still doesn't know how to work the cape, but we'll give him time.

This week has been rewarding and trying all at the same time. I think this is the first time since working at Safford that I've felt the strain of the new pressures of being a high school AND middle school teacher. It's a little exhausting splitting myself up and having enough energy for 5 different sets of students in each class I teach. The choirs are sounding great, I just hope I can keep their attention spans going till our concert in October.

The closer Ari gets to the due date, the more she's "feeling" this pregnancy. She's now to the point where she will be having weekly visits with the doctor. We're pumped because Grandma is going to let us get away this next weekend and have one last "date" day to ourselves before the baby comes and so we can go to the temple one last time before our lives become MAJORLY crazy.

Saturday was fun, but a little disappointing to me. I had a teacher training where we all got together and used the high school's crazy military, boot camp, extreme heights playground. It was fun because we did a lot of "getting to know you" stuff, and I feel a lot closer to my new colleagues. At first I wasn't going to wear any sunscreen, being stupid and thinking I needed all the sun/tan I could get. Within one hour of being out there, I'm SO glad they talked me into slathering up. I missed the corners of my forehead and calves, and they are BURNED! The frustrating thing for me was that I didn't get up on the high cat walk and conquer my fear. I just looked around and saw all these teeny "women teachers" that I couldn't get myself to trust to belay me. So I didn't do it, and I feel like I really missed out on an awesome opportunity. Hopefully next time we can climb the rock wall, or do the zip line and then I can redeem myself.

That's it for us, now it's time for another week. Hopefully this one goes a little better, and we'll have more fun and exciting stories for you!

Your little boy really is cuteness! And your wife is adorable!
Hey, do you remember that song you wrote for when the Spackmans left?? I was just recalling it the other day. Do you think you could post the lyrics or something. Just recallin' good old NYC times, and wanted to reminisce.

hope to see you guys at the reunion
if you are in town.

Jax's pj's are adorable! Our oldest son LOVES dressing in costumes. He practically lived in his Spiderman costume for a year! It had holes everywhere, but he didn't care! Hang in there teaching. I can't imagine taking both JH and High School! I'm sure you're doing fine! Have fun on your last day date!

You guys!! You are having another baby soon! I can't believe how much Jaxon has grown up. He is going to be such a little stud! Congrats on the new baby! Ariana, you are the woman! Being pregnant is not so fun-- especially toward the end-- but it is so worth it! And Jordan, I'm sure you're one of your students favorite teachers so keep it up-- the hard work pays off.

Love the pjs! BTW we won't be coming to Safford next weekend after all. We'll have to plan another, separate trip up later. It was fun to see you guys last weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
