Home Sweet Home

Photobucket

Well, here we are, moved again. We are so tired of moving. Hopefully this one will last a little longer? We'll see. Anyway, sorry we've been MIA for a while, things have been crazy over here, but now we're settled in and ready to bliggity blog again. The move was ridiculous. We did it on a Monday of all days and I worked that day. Immediately after work I ran to the Uhaul place and began one of the most exhausting experiences ever. We weren't very good about getting help set up to come over and most people didn't come until a blessed family from our old ward, the Peterson's, got on the phone and demanded help. What would we have done with out them.

On the other side of the move, thankfully my family (Jim, Joanna, and Mom and Dad) were there to help unload in Chandler. Oh that's right we moved to Chandler. So now we're smack dab in the middle of all the action and don't have to drive all day. We moved into a tiny town house, and when I say tiny, I mean miniscule (especially to what we've become accustomed to in our Queen Creek mansion.) Seriously, we were so lucky to be able to spend our first year in Arizona in such a nice, spacious, house. Now it's back to our shack. . .:)

When we brought everything in all Ariana kept saying was, "We're never going to be able to fit everything!" But, due to some majorly creative skills on both our parts, we've done an excellent job. It took us about a week to get everything unpacked but we are ready to roll.

Jaxon has been SO patient with his cast. The poor guy, the part between his thumb and fingers is sharp and rubs the skin raw. Hopefully he'll get it off on Tuesday and we can celebrate by going swimming in our new pool that we have access to. (Definitely one of the perks of moving here!) I've already used the pool once, it was FREEZING but after a couple of laps, it felt wonderful.

The neighborhood is so great for Jax. Tons of sidewalks and we're within walking distance to three really fun parks. They have great canopies covering them too, so it's perfect for the Arizona sun. Ari and I have already taken him roller blading around the neighborhood in his jogging stroller. Tons of fun. . .and great exercise for me and the baby momma!

We loved meeting our new ward today. They were so friendly and made us feel very welcome! We really think we're gonna love being Chandler-ites. We're just a hop skip and a jump away from the temple too, so that will be awesome for us.

We hope you're all doing well. I can't believe the end of the school year is coming up SO FAST! I'll be done May 22nd and then I'll switch into potato farmer mode for the remainder of the summer. Gotta love bringin' home the bacon!

Enjoy the slide show!

Wow! I am impressed that you guys have unpacked so much already! My sister and Josh's sister both live in Chandler and love it, so I am sure it is a great place. Good luck with the rest of the school year.

Hey, I know EXACTLY where those townhouses are!! I always thought that they looked cute, more housy than some. Anyway, you are REALLY close to Matt's sister, who we visit often, so we'll have to come by sometime!

The new place looks cute! Sorry the move was a little rough. I can't believe you already have pictures up! We've been in our place a year our walls are still mostly bare! Way to be on top of things!

Looks great! The boys and I will be there in May. (Jaron is graduating, can you believe it?!) Maybe we can meet up at one of the parks so the kids can play. I'd love to meet your wife and catch up with you. Let me know. We'll probably spend time in the Phoenix area and the valley. It would be great to meet up.
