I'm editing to see. . .
Jordan had one more interview before school started so while he was waiting for his flight to come back he and mom and dad went to the Provo City Temple. He said it was one of the most beautiful temples he's ever seen.
A quick bite to eat at Los Hermanos before the flight back.
I'd have to say the kids were so ready to go back to school. They were bored at home and with each other. The boys weren't getting along and nothing that I said or did would get them to stop hurting each other. I was frustrated that they wouldn't listen or get along. But there were a few bright spots in the last few summer days.
Kodee lost his tooth right next to his front tooth while Jordan and I were in Iowa and Nauvoo for the Keith Adult Reunion. Sweet boy kept his tooth in a bag and waited until I got home so he could show me and I could put his tooth under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy. He's growing up so quickly!
Monsoons this year have been plentiful with lots if thunder and lightening and rain.
Then the night of our Anniversary I came outside and saw this beauty.
We got in a nice smmoch. Happy 11 years to my best friend!
Connie came over that afternoon so we could go on a day date.
We decided on JD's for their amazing salad bar and chicken tenders. During the day the noise wasn't so bad in JD's. Then we got to walk around the furniture store and lay on mattresses and dream of new furniture someday. Then we went to Beall's and walked around some more to find a present that we both agreed on. We picked up nice teal vases and decorations but we put them down and decided on a sturdy green plant in a pot to decorate the fireplace in the front room.
To finish off our date we watched a new movie called Nerve. It was really intense for me, but we enjoyed it because it was really written well and had a nice twist at the end.
Kodee was so thoughtful and made us a present while we were gone. Everyone needs an anniversary paper hat.
I've never made a cake for our anniversary so I thought that would be my present to Jordan.
He asked for a glazed lemon cake. It doesn't look pretty but it tasted very good.
We've had fun at the splash pad this summer!
Nacho still loves his mama!
The boys can still be found like this. . .
Back to school night- meet the teachers. Jordan had to show them where his old locker was in the middle school.
The traditional- walking out the door first day of school pic.

They are SO READY
I'm really starting to see how much they look alike.

Dad had a first day of school pic too.

Gemma's always camera ready.
Fun with snapchat filters. These things are hilarious. The traditional- walking out the door first day of school pic.

5 days after our Anniversary the kids began school.
YAY!! the kids were so excited they got up super early. Kodee apparently couldn't sleep and got up at 2am to put on his school outfit and went back to bed.
Gemma woke up and tried to leave without eating breakfast or getting her lunch.
The kids ate breakfast and practically ran out the door.
I said goodbye to them at the bus stop and then I got Lottie and I in the car and we drove to the Primary school so we could see Gemma in her classroom. We saw her on the playground and then the bell rang and we walked in behind the kids to say goodbye. Gemma is right by the door. She could not wait for school to begin! She did give me a hug and then Lottie and I stepped out.
3 of my 4 kids are in school!
I'm happy!
Lottie asked for me to pick up Gemma at 11 like I did when she was in preschool.
I waited for the kids to get off the bus that afternoon. Gemma saw me and ran and gave me the biggest hug.
She said she loved it but then didn't say much after that.
Kindergarten wore this girl out!
On the 2nd day of school she said a boy named Jordan pulled her hair and made her cry.
On the 3rd day she came home and said Jordan was born differently and that he still needed friends. We said that was right. then she said that was because he was half handicapped and half human.
Boy did Jordan and I get a chuckle out of that.
