The kids were good with the box and peanuts
We had the missionaries over and they had shared a lesson by using three cups and 3 knives and the kids had to find a way to balance the knives on the cups so they weren't touching so it could hold a can of soup. Jason got pretty close, but the Elders did have to show us how it was done. It was really cool. After they left Jaxon played with these cups for a couple hours figuring out several cool designs.

The Anthem Outlet Mall brought in the tallest Christmas tree in America. You could the top for miles around. It was stunning. We came one night after FHE

Kodee lost his first tooth this month and he held on to his money all day. Even fell asleep holding it. What a funny kid.
Gemma asked for Anna braids one day and dad wasn't home so I finally decided to teach myself how to do French braids. It took me a good while, but Gemma was patient and sat for me while I tried to get it down. I kept dropping the hairs at the top. Not bad for a first time. If it's wet it is easier.
Jaxon's first winter swimmeet. After he would swim we got him his towel to dry off and then he bundled up to get warm. We don't blame him. We all got very cold. Poor Kodee wasn't feeling too well and then he got a fever and was freezing. I put on his coat and a big blanket. He curled up and fell asleep in a camping chair. Jaxon you are getting better all the time!
Since Jordan pulled his show choir set from the movie Maleficent he wanted to have a movie night with Broadway Bound. The Wayne's hosted and all the kids brought food, there was even a ton of movie theater popcorn brought in. Corin provided hot chocolate, thank goodness, because it was a chilly night. We got there late since we were at the swimmeet. The kids sat down and enjoyed the rest of the movie. These students on the trampoline chatted the whole movie, but they had fun.
One night we were at Hollie and Garrett's and we were starving so these goofballs went to Taco Bell. I think they had fun. Hollie was also having cravings so we couldn't say no to the pregnant one.

While they waited to go on stage, the girls colored. When it was finally her turn to go the teachers said she didn't want to leave her coloring page.
On stage they danced in two rows. Gemma started in the back row and did great! We didn't get a great video because she was behind another girl. Then they switched rows and did the dance again. We had a great view of Gemma right in the middle and she started dancing and when she put her arms up they ran into her halo. She stopped dancing and tore off the halo and put it on the ground. We couldn't believe it! She had the dance down and then she just kind of fell apart. Funny girl.
After the show we picked her up and tried taking these pictures. For some reason Gemma would not smile. We had to take 5 more before she did this. Well done for your first performance on stage Gemma!

Jaxon got an 8th place ribbon at the swimmeet that was so cold! Proud of you son!
