March Madness and Spring Break!

Sending Ari a pic from a choir trip. I wanted to show her my new jacket I got, and yes I frequently match my phone to my shoes:) Just dawned on me I've fallen pray to the dreaded "mirror selfie."

Lottie playing away with her toys! So cute!

Oh the places they will go! Creativity is always rampant at our house. We love this street, Elm Ave and the safe haven it is for our kids!

Lottie's first attempt at rolling over. . . .almost there!

Here is the day that I ran my longest run! Thus far. Ari and the kids joined me for the last six miles. . .well, Jaxon and Kodee pooped out at three miles and came home before us. Jaxon had this letter waiting for us on the front door. With a flower arrangement they had picked up from the cemetery I was running around. . .yes, our son is a grave robber.

The picture shows Ari pulling Lottie and Gemma in the bike attachment. I'm running in front of her. Very creative!

Gemma drinking her cereal milk through a straw in a straw. Oh these kids. . .

These two are quite the beautiful pair.

Over spring break we were inspired to decorate Lottie's nursery. I found these letters at a shop on one of my choir trips and we put this idea together with the colors used from the quilt Ari's mom gave Lottie when she was born.

here is the before and after of the dresser we painted for her room. We love the way it turned out!

Lottie's first rice cereal!

For spring break this year we wanted to do something we had never done before- go somewhere new. We researched New Mexico, Texas, California. . .we settled on Sedona, AZ! It was a blast and SO beautiful. The weather was perfect for some awesome hiking. It was a great place for me to get my nightly workout runs in. We loved every minute of the vacation- except for maybe Lottie and Gemma crying all night in the hotel. Everything else was great. Not too long after this vacation this area suffered a terrible wild fire. We haven't been back, but I'm sure the beauty has been lost somewhat. So sad! These fires in AZ are terrible!

We hiked this beautiful trail just outside of Sedona. It was quite rigorous but with all of the training I've been doing, and Ari is so naturally fit- we survived just fine! The pack with Gemma was awesome!

The kids LOVED this pool but it was pretty freezing. They SAID it was heated. . .I don't know. And I only packed my Speedo Jammers thinking I was going to get some good lap swimming/workouts in while we were there. . . didn't happen. I only felt immodest the whole time. Oops.

This is the hot tub with the best view we've ever seen! It was super hot the first day. Ice cold and broken the second day. Bummer.

Selfies with my love.

We were SO tire on the way home. Mostly because Gemma and Lottie kept us up the whole night before. I had to pull over just outside of Camp Verde because I was NOT going to make it. We all had to have a little car nap. Apparently Jax snagged my cam and took a pic of everyone sleeping. That little sly one. . .

Have I mentioned I LOVE to nap with this little bird. Nice little relaxing day of Spring Break.

Here she is. . .The princess of St. Paddy's day. Our little model, the cutest, Gemma!

Jaxon's first piano recital (well one of his first "official" Lee Little piano recitals) with the studio of Celeste Innes. She did WONDERS with him and showed him SO much love! She was one of my first teachers too so it's nice to see the love of music coming full circle with the same teacher!

Here is the famous Emma we've been hearing so much about. Jaxon's been talking about her for over a year alluding to a future wedding, best friend, girl friend, etc. She's a cutie! It's so funny the way he was always afraid to tell me his feelings about her. Let's just say he liked her "A LOT!"

Lottie being STINKING cute!

This little angel is SUCH a blessing in our lives! How we love our Lottie Dottie!
