2nd half of Christmas break

I like to think BYU won the game this day because Gemma was their biggest fan!

#4 (of new things we've done)- Jumping Jacks bounce house. OH. MY. GOODNESS! At first Jordan and I watched the kids play and then we wanted to get in on the action. What a fun place! (We were also watching Benjamin so my sister and bro. in law could go on a date.) Every city should have one of these. The boys just went from thing to thing climbing and sliding and bouncing. Jordan and I raced on two of them. We were wiped out by the time we left. All the boys' faces were red and sweaty.

#5-Sledding at Big Cottonwood Canyon- We had to go pretty far to get some good snow. There wasn't any the whole two weeks we were there. What we found was perfect. Jaxon just took off and kept going on bigger and bigger hills. About 10 minutes before we left Jaxon went down this huge hill with tons of bumps and a huge dip. Jordan didn't know that until he was going down it, by himself. Jaxon did great until he hit a bump, flew off the sled and crashed into the side of the big dip. Jordan was sure Jaxon broke his arm by how hard he hit and how loudly he was crying. (I missed it because I was taking Kodee to a tree for the potty.) We came back and he was still crying-it scared him pretty bad. We are grateful he did not break his arm. Other than that-a solid, great time! Even though the socks I'm wearing look funny they sure were warm. Gemma was a trooper for staying in the stroller almost the whole time.

New Years Eve was spent preparing food for our party and the sledding above. The food was awesome! Homemade cheeseball, ranch dip and veggies, little smokies wrapped in bacon and covered in brown sugar, clam dip, 7layer bean dip, sparkling cider, cookies, and little cheesecakes. We had a great party! Jordan even let the boys stay up til midnight. They danced, they did push-ups, and ran outside yelling Happy New Year! when the clocked turned to midnight. One of the best New Year's celebrations yet!

After going to bed super late we got up early Sunday morning to drive to Cove to visit with Kelly and Troy. I was a little grumpy (Jordan would say a lot grumpy) but when we got there they had hot pancakes, fresh syrup, the best cheesy eggs ever, and oranges. It was delish! Thanks for that Troy! The boys remembered the place from last time and made themselves comfortable. They then went on a little nature walk and had a grand ole time. Kelly and I got to catch up on our lives during that time. They always have the funniest stories to tell us. We got ready for church and got there to find out it was classes first. The boys were so done by the time sacrament rolled around. After church Kelly whipped out a cake and shepard's pie in record time. Thanks for the dinner and the good visit Kelly and Troy. We ran out of there so we could drive home in time for Megan and Preston's visit.
Favorite roommate #1- Megan. They had Lilly 2 days before Gemma so they will be lifelong friends like Megan and I will be.
