Christmas and beyond!

December was magical! When we put up our decorations Thanksgiving weekend the boys lit up with so much excitement. They just had so much fun with the train around the Christmas tree.

From now on it's just going to be pictures since we are so behind on blogging. Let's be honest-3 kids is exhausting...when the kids are put to bed we don't want to do a thing.

Our first Christmas: at Janeen's! They were so sweet and got all of us two presents each. The boys could barely wait for this night!

Utah bound Christmas break 2011! The kids did awesome! Shannon (our new niece) helped an uber amount with the boys and we love her for that!

Papa's house! Grandma missed Christmas due to helping her parents out in Vegas. That's all we'll say about that. Gemma's first Christmas dress. The boys loving daddy (or more like smothering)

CHRISTMAS DAY!!! WE woke up super early to open presents before church. The kids took a few minutes to realize what was going on. But, they loved it! Gemma loved the bows and ribbons.

Jordan and I sang in my parents ward that morning. Gemma looked adorable in her new outfit.
We don't have any pictures of the food that night, but Papa made a delicious turkey!

The most mild Utah Christmas ever so the boys got plenty of time on their favorite presents. Family outing to Temple Square. It was perfect because we went at 4 before all the crowds. Gift card to Olive Garden-much appreciated and loved the food. Great day!

This Christmas we did a lot of firsts. #1- Aquarium. The boys loved the first tank with the sharks and bigger fish. We got to pet a sting ray. It was slimy and furry all at the same time. Kind of weird. Jaxon was ready to go early on so when we took the picture with the cartoon penguin he refused to be in it.

Happy Happy at Aunt Kim's house

#2-Five Guys- Right as we took our first bites Kodee fell off his chair flat on his nose and lips on the hard floor. He's never bled that much before. Once we got the bleeding under control he got really weird and sleepy. We were 2 seconds away from taking him to a Quik Care. So glad we did not. After he slept he woke up to regular Kodee. We ended up not liking our food. Sorry Five Guys- not a good first impression.

After 5 Guys we went to #3-Ice Skating. We went to the Olympic Rink and it was awesome! Very family friendly. We kept switching out Kodee, Ben and Gemma in the stroller-so easy. Jaxon was in HEAVEN! We gave him one of those walkers and he was off. No rules. Open space. He did awesome! Sometimes he would slip but he would slide until he just bounced up again. Kodee's skates were so little and cute, but he didn't even use them. Oh well. This more than made up for the disastrous dinner!!
