This post has been a long time coming! We hope you enjoy catching up on our lives!
Me and the two boys went to my parents in South Jordan for a month from May 24th to June 19th while Jordan was working in Eloy on his bro-in-laws potato farm. Out of the 27 days we were there, it rained 25 of them. Record wetness for the month of June in Salt Lake. We still managed to have lots of fun!
*Suprising my sister the day after we got there. She cried!
*Lots of park time and walks
*Hogle Zoo and children's discovery museum
*Playing with cousins
*Adults playing games almost every night
*Lots of good food from my mom and restaurants. My mom made something different for breakfast almost every morning. Impressive!
*Jaxon turning every toy into trains
*Up! (Kodee wouldn't let me watch it though)
*My brother, Clay's, b-day
*Shopping!
Besides the rain the other downer was Jax and Kodee didn't sleep well at all. At first Jaxon would wake up really early and run straight upstairs into my parents bedroom and scare them awake. Then if he took naps at all they would be really late and then he stayed up late (10 or 11 pm). Kodee went from sleeping through the night to waking up every 2-3 hours. I think he was cold at night because in the basement it was probably 50 degrees, so I had to get him some warmer pjs. I got terrible sleep as a result. Thanks to my mom and dad helping with the boys I was able to make it through the days.
When Jordan picked us up from the airport Jaxon was kind of shy around his dad for a while and then Kodee didn't recognize Jordan at all. He cried. Jordan was sad. We spent a day and a half together then Jordan had to go back to work for two weeks. We did great for the first couple of days then I started losing it. I got scared at night and I was losing all my patience with Jaxon. Jordan is definitely a necessity in our house! We finally got him back on the 4th of July after a crazy a couple of days with car trouble for him. We were so glad to have him back and be reunited as a family.
