Middle School Final Concert

I've finally finished all my concerts! All that's coming up now are graduations-not much to stress out about that. But boy was this week a trip. I feel like my brain was reeling 100 mph for the whole week. I kept thinking about every possible thing that could go wrong.

Both shows were great, and reminded me why I love what I do. Having the students happy with their shows and love performing is what it's all about.

This was our final Middle School concert. The choir did some fun tunes: Dance Evolution, Broken Road, and a Motown Medley.

The choir also got together and surprised me with a "#1 Music Teacher" Trophy they had engraved with my name. They also bought me some flowers and presented them to me after they performed. It was such a cool surprise!!! Love those kids!

The Musical Theater group did a version of "Footloose" mixed with a Medieval themed play called "Beauty is a Beast." It was hilarious and the songs worked perfectly with it. The kids loved dressing up 80's! The things I pull out of my head. . .where do I get these crazy ideas??

Footloose Pose
