All Things Kodee

Hi Kodee

We decided to make a special blog post to you. You had a very special day on Sunday. You were blessed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was right after Thanksgiving, so lots of family were able to be there with us.

Here is the blessing that I gave you (as interpreted by Grandma Connie and Grandma Roseann)



Kodee, at this time we give you a blessing to sustain you throughout your life and bring you closer to your Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father loves you very much. You have been born into a family with a lot of love to give. We bless you with a special relationship with your brother, Jaxon, and your future brothers and sisters.

We bless you to be strong and have a happy life- to be a peacemaker. We bless you to be someone who is a good friend, that you will be there for your friends- that you will be able to give them guidance and help.

We bless you to be strong in the church, to love the scriptures and search them daily. You will be a scriptorian and the scriptures will be a big part of your life and you will love them.

When the time comes we bless you to serve a mission and bring many into the church who have been looking for the gospel and wanting to have a relationship with Christ. When you return from your mission we bless you to find a beautiful, young woman to take to the temple and have a family with her.

Kodee, you are very special and have many great things to do in your life.




You were very good during the blessing Kodee. You were very sleepy and didn't make a peep. Those who stood in the circle were: Grandpa Bob, Grandpa Ron, Uncle Jim, Uncle David and of course, Daddy.

After the blessing we took pictures at our house, which we just got all decorated for Christmas!

We've noticed many things about you, so far, Kodee. You LOVE to nurse. If you could have your way, you would do it all day long. You were an early smiler. We love to see your little smile and the dimple that shows up on your right cheek. You love to be by someone. As long as there's a warm body by you, you're happy. You love it when your brother talks to you and plays with you. You always quiet down to listen to him. You like to go to bed in the swing, then after you've fallen asleep you sleep pretty good in the Boppy Bouncer by mom's side of the bed. You are a little trembler. That little bottom lip of yours quivers nonstop and we LOVE it. You've got a REALLY loud cry, those lungs are amazing! You love to be snuggled up and toasty warm.

We love you Kodee and are SO glad you are a part of our family!
