So, I have been reading this book, The Host. I bought it without even knowing anything about it because it was by Stephenie Meyer, the BYU genious behind the Twilight series so I figured it had to be good, and I was in need of a good read. The book started off great, got a little slow in the middle and I had to push myself to keep going, but I was not sorry I did at all.
The book is actually amazing. She has done something that maybe has never been done before, combined Sci-Fi, with a bit of romance and suspence. It really is the sci-fi book for non science fiction fans. Just the fact that she has an alien being inhabiting someone's body and they converse throughout the whole book is very intriguing. But the ending is great, and she really did a good job. I highly recommend this book. Check it out! Let me know if you've read it or what you think.
