Spring Break!

Wow, what a week this has been. It feels like it's lasted a long time because of all that we were able to do. We went down to Thatcher the second I got done with parent teacher conferences on Friday. (Not one parent came so it gave me time to catch up on organizing my desk and classroom.) We had a great weekend with the old padres and enjoyed going to a few movies. . . . .(Penelope, Horton Hears A Who, and 10,000 BC.) Movies are pretty much all there is to do in Thatcher. I enjoyed each of the flicks, all very different. Ari was feeling really sick and nauseous the first part of our trip, then BINGO I got a flu bug on Tuesday (that has lingered clear until today) and the second I feel sick Ari's ready to take on the world. It's very strange how we balance each other. Jaxon loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa. Now we're making preparations for moving next Monday. We had ourselves the first Jordan Keith family yard sale yesterday. It was great. On Friday afternoon we were like, let's have a yard sale, so I made some signs, put them up on the street, and whala. . .we had a yard sale. We got rid of a lot of extra furniture that we definitely won't be able to fit in our new place. We're downsizing from a 4 bedroom house to a two bedroom, 1.5 bath town house. But we're excited to do it. We've definitely been living with too much space for our little family. So the yard sale was a success, we made a little extra cash, and towards the end I was just giving everything away to anyone who wanted it, because lets face it, that's why we have a yard sale, to get rid of stuff.

To celebrate the end of Spring Break we took Jaxon to Chuckee Cheeze last night. He had a blast and was a little overwhelmed with all the joy that was contained in one small space. His favorite was a little blue choo choo train, and he was very territorial over it. If one little kid came near it, he was sure to stake his claim.

We also had the great opportunity of taking Jax to the Mesa Arizona Temple Easter Pageant. We got some food, had a little picnic on a blanket, and watched the production. He loved it, aside from the time I spent chasing him through the crowd or trying to get him to sleep. It was just too much excitement to wind him down. He got his easter basket from the easter bunny on Saturday and discovered the world of Jelly Beans. . . our carpet will never be the same!!:) He also had a hay day strewing all the easter grass around the family room.

Happy Easter everyone! I hope that you all had a great holiday and had some time to reflect on the miracle of Christ's sacrifice for us. We are so grateful for what he did for us, and eternally grateful to be members of His church!

P.S. I failed to mentioned that the Vocal Point CD that Ryan Innes and I are on is now out and available! Let me know if you want a copy. . .I might be able to swing you a deal! I'm pumped cause I have two solo songs on there!
