Beautiful snowy Mt. Graham, still a little gloomy:)
Lottie is FINALLY sleeping on her big girl bed. This has been a doozy of an obstacle with this one.
Some more bruising later on. Yikes.
We got the boys room switched over and bunk beds separated. They LOVE their room!
Gemma is now in the middle room.
She gets to use our bed now.
Grandma's taking down the red bells for the last time EVER. They are officially retired- as they sparked and are definitely a danger now. Welp- they lasted a really long time.
Welcome to the family Nacho. Kodee found this little Chi at the park being attacked by a bigger black dog. He's a very sweet dog and loves us very much. The kids almost love him TOO much, so he likes his space once in a while.
These kids LOVE fund dips and pixie sticks. Not our favorite but it makes funny faces. . .
More bruising. . eck
Jaxon LOVES his stuffed animals. He insisted on a family portrait. They all have names- and a very special place in his heart.
Finally- THE LONG awaited Daddy Gemma date- Frozen on Ice. This was EPIC!
She was ecstatic and loved every minute!
CAN'T-CONTAIN-EXCITEMENT-AAAAHH

And afterward- Chick fil a! What a fun date!
We stopped by to meet little Romney Sanchez- Yasser and Emily's latest bundle of joy. Such a cutie.
She was pretty tuckered out on the long way home- but I fear this daddy date set up some huge expectations for future dates.
Lottie LOVES Nacho- so cute how she always walks around the house singing- "Nacho Nacho Man!"
Gemma on her first day of Pre-school. She loved Ms. Stacey! She was raring to go- let me tell you.
This one- there are no words. . .
Jaxon discovered Settlers of Catan. It's a new love!
Pinewood Derby time. Dad spent WAY too much time on this car for the way it turned out. . . oh well.
We finally got our beautiful table out of storage. Ari needed something of her's in the house.
The living room got a makeover. For the first time in probably 15 years- it has been changed dramatically. Fun new change.
The quartets were asked to sing at a fund raiser at the Presbyterian church. They did a great job.
As we enter into February- things are brighter:)
Ari was able to come along for the Regional Audition trip to U of A. She helped accompany and it was a lot of fun to have her with me. We even bought a selfie stick!
Fun little get away to Potbelly Stove- our FAVORITE sandwich spot. They make a delicious salted caramel milk shake.
We had a little bit of a catastrophe one night in early February. Gemma somehow thought it would be a great idea to give herself a little hair cut. This is what I found in the bathroom sink.
Now mind you- we had dreams for her- growing her hair out to her waste as a five year old. Well that all went away pretty quick...
Gemma was pretty devastated by the result. She also didn't like Dad's reaction to the situation.
She can cover it up with a head band but the pain is still real behind the eyes. :)Time to go to the salon to see what Debbie could salvage. We decided to keep it long and grow out the bangs. Head bands would become her "thing" for the next few weeks.
Pinewood derby time. Richard was the MC. He was pretty hilarious!
Jaxon's car did pretty good. He loved racing it.
To finish off this post- we went through the house and boxed up the rest of mom's stuff and put it back in the toy room for her storage.
