Time for some time at Epcot! I always thought this was a huge golf ball. I had no idea that there was a ride inside of it that went up to the top. It was pretty cool and very interesting. It was called the World Earth Technology Ride.
One of the things I was looking forward to most at Epcot was sampling the sodas from all over the countries. It seemed like I really like the South African and Korean drinks.
Time for the Test Drive Chevrolet Ride. We went in the quick line so we didn't get the full effect of designing our car, but it was pretty cool and very futuristic.

Time to tour the countries. Beautiful lake that the countries surround.
First stop- "Oh Canada!"
All things Candian, including pine trees:)
Not far away was the UK. Very UK-ish.
Tudor style houses.
Time to go to France. Nice little Eiffel Tower.
Beautiful gardens.
The bakery was cool in france, and they had really yummy sandwiches. Everyone who worked there was from France and had cool French accents.
Next was Morocco. It was so hot by this time I thought I was going to die. I remember just being in a foggy stupper walking around in a haze. This is where I lost Ari and Kristen. I went to a worker and said pathetically, "do you know where my family is?" She did not. . . she also suggested that I take on the drink around the world challenge (drink liquor from all over the world). I think not.
This was like a Moroccan Turkish bath or something. Very pretty and ethnic looking inside.
Time for my favorite- Japan!
I was so excited to eat authentic Japanese food! Sushi and curry with Katsu Chicken. Yum!
Finally- Italy for the Italian lover!
We loved seeing the gondolas.
We got some gelato in Italy and Ari did not even try to speak Italian to the very friendly workers. I, on the other hand, quoted lyrics from Italian arias to them. We were not thinking straight from the heat.
Time for Germany!
They had this caramel shop where we bought caramel corn. It was delicious! I loved Germany!
Time to walk through a little bit of Africa.
On to China. By this time we are just walking and walking, so hot and tired and not really enjoying much because we are so tired and have walked for days and days.
Here we are in Norway. They're getting ready to do some cool Frozen stuff here so we'll have to come back and see it.
Now on to Mexico.
Looks very Mexican!
We went into this big building and rode the Tres Amigos Ride. It was pretty weird, but it was very nice to get into the AC. SO HOT AND HUMID outside!
This is the American part of Epcot.
Finally time to ride Soarin'. This was one of the biggest let downs. We were on the bottom level, had peoples feet hanging in front of us, the line was over an hour line, it was just bad. I enjoyed it more in Cali. We must have been really tired here.
On the way out of the park we stopped at this art store to buy a beautiful cross stitch that will keep us busy for the next few years, but will be a great souvenir for us!
I saw these paintings of Cinderella and Elsa and thought they were pretty cool but over $300 a pop! Geesh. Who has money to spend on Disney Artwork like that?
The Epcot Center at night. Beautiful!
We swooped back to the Magic Kingdom on the monorail because we wanted to end out Disney Experience in the park.
We went and rode Space Mountain one more time. So much fun!
Then we ran over to the brand new ride "Seven Dwarfs Mine Train." It was one of the longest lines in the park all day so we decided to hit it up during the fireworks so the line wouldn't be long. It kind of worked, but there were still a lot of people that had the same idea.
I LOVED this ride! It's one of the coolest rides in the park? Who wouldn't want to ride through on a roller coaster in the diamond mines. Great idea Disney!
The details in the line were very cool and there were lots of gem themed games to play to keep you entertained.
The best part of the mine ride, was that while we were on, the fireworks were in full finale swing. It was AWESOME! Our ride even got stuck for a while and we were out under the stars with fireworks stuck on the tracks, but had the best seat imaginable for the fireworks! Win win!
This is when Kristen left us and we decided to run back to Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain railroad for another ride.
Splash Mountain also broke down with us on it. We were the good luck charm of the night I guess. It was ok, made the ride longer for us.
Next we rode Big Thunder one more time, and then I got the most delicious thing of the entire day- a FANTASTIC dole whip from the Hawaiian dole whip place. So good. I will always crave that! That's a must have when you are in Disney World.
We watched a little bit of the light parade and then it was time to say goodbye to Disneyland. Such a fun experience. The perfect Anniversary and trip after finishing a very tough Master's program.
Now- TIME TO GRADUATE!
