Disney World Day 1 Part 2 (Hollywood Studios)

After frantically making are way over to Hollywood Studios, and parking we ran as quick as we could over to the Rock'nRoller coaster. We had a fast pass for this ride so we had to get there in time. That's why we had to rush from the Animal Kingdom.

This coaster was based on Aerosmith the band, and it was all about hopping in a limo to get through the city fast. It was awesome! We loved it- even Ari. It was a lot like Space Mountain.

After this we had to run all the way across the park, clear to the other side, to make it in time for our Star Tours fast pass. This ride always make me (Jordan) a little sick. The simulated rides just do that to me.

After Star Tours we decided to catch the Indiana Jones live action show. This was the low point of the day. It was SO HOT and sweltering. We had terrible seats and we were all crammed in like sardines and could not feel any type of breeze at all. I kept falling asleep because it was so miserable and hot.

Next we had to run CLEAR across the park again to use our fast pass for the Tower of Terror. I love this ride, but it was definitely different from the California Adventure version, and not as scary.

Ari was SO SCARED to ride this tower of terror, but afterward she thought it wasn't that big of a deal.

Next we were just in time to see the musical production of Beauty and the Beast. The costumes were awesome but Belle had a slightly annoying nasality tone to her voice. Gaston on the other hand was awesome. Very cool theatrical and stage elements though. During this show it started thundering and raining, and it was an outdoor theater. It really helped cool down the park.

After this we ran clear across the park to go get dinner at a cool sci-fi movie drive in restaurant. Across from it was the Ice Palace Boutique.

We took a picture here because my old student, Summer, works here. We just missed her shift but we wanted to show her we took the time to try and come visit her.

In the drive-in movie restaurant. It was so cool. The tables were like seats in vintage cars.

It showed movies and previews of these old school horror movies. Pretty funny.

Our waitress congratulated us on our anniversary but told us to read the screen. . .

Ah well, we don't care. We'll smooch away.

This is how all the tables in the restaurant are laid out. Fun ambiance.

I ordered a delicious past alfredo with diced tomatoes and a chocolate shake. Time to treat ourselves on a big anniversary!

Ari ordered a delicious turkey sandwich and fries. Both dishes were amazing and very fulfilling. I highly recommend eating out a nice dinner while in the park!

On our way over to Toy Story we passed by the Mann's Chinese Theater. Very close replica to the real thing in Hollywood.

Toy Story was probably the longest line of the day. I wish we would have gotten a fast pass for this ride. The line was fun to walk through though. The decorations were entertaining, detailed and very creative.

We were getting a little loopy:)

Getting close, but this line just kept wrapping around and around and sometimes felt like it was not going ANYWHERE.
Loved these giant christmas lights.

Finally, we booked it clear across the park once again to see Fantasmic! I can't believe how many times we had to run across the park. We had to have burned a TON of calories that day from all the walking and running in the heat. The crowd here was huge! And the whole crowd did the wave. That was pretty awesome, except they didn't know when to stop because it just kept going and going.

Fantasmic was a lot like the one in California. I just didn't like the way the laser lights were blasting right into my corneas. I had a pretty bad headache and that did not help at all.
We decided to get a head start on the way out of the park and skip watching the fireworks. Luckily we saw this as we were walking out and grabbing Ari a yummy ice cream cone.

The fireworks were to the music from Frozen. The whole park was Frozen everything, so that was a lot of fun. Apparently that movie has been extremely successful for Disney.

After this we went to check into our Disney Resort Hotel. We stayed in the Pop Century Hotel and it was all themed with decades. We stayed in the 1980's/90's hotel. All the decorations represented that Era. They were very creative. Honestly we didn't spend much time here, just a quick crash and back out to the parks.

I did however float in the huge computer screen pool to soak my achy bones at night.

This keyboard pad was under the monitor/pool so it looked like a huge computer from up above.

Roger Rabbit and floppy disks.
A rubix cube and a staircase. Quite convenient!
