So we've been keeping plenty-a-busy during this break. We're trying to get to everything we've always wanted to do since we've moved here. we've started with separating out all of the boys clothes and getting their clothes that are too small put away. We've also finally painted the ugly dresser, shelf, and changing table that's in Jaxon's room. The dresser that was in our bedroom was an ugly "berry/dust/tan" color that we really couldn't define. The shelf in Jaxon's room was half maroon and half teal (what was I thinking when I was 10?) and the changing table was a barfy, pucey green. Happy to be rid of those colors! Just a couple of cans of spray paint on each did the trick. Check out the finished products. Most of these dressers had either never been painted or hadn't been painted since the mid 80's. I think it was time.
Here is what the dresser and shelf looked like before.
This was one of the Mitzel's Christmas presents for the boys. The cutest little frog and monster towels EVER!
