Almost There

Well, after a couple more walks around the hospital, Ari's finally to the point where she wanted some meds. She just had a dose of fentinol (or something like that.) She immediately crashed, which is so good, cause she needs a good nap to get ready for the pushing. I can tell she gets uncomfortable in her sleep though, because she tenses up with every contraction. It's great for me though because I can enjoy my Survivor and Grey's Anatomy before the main attraction starts. Can anyone bring me some popcorn? That's all I'm missing, j/k!
Oh, a new nurse is on for the night shift, and she confirmed Ari at a 4+, not quite a 5. That's good because with Jax she was at a 3 for about 12 hours and couldn't seem to get passed it. Already this is so much better. Our doctor has said he'll allow the epidural after a 5, Ari can't wait, but she's being a majorly tough trooper! Man, what you women go through for our families, it astounds me! Makes us husbands sure love you all the more!

I am so envious of you, you get to have a new precious angel soon, good luck! How exciting you get to tell jaxson he is a big brother soon! I hope Ari got her epidural already and is doing awesome!
