Aunt Jill Comes to Town

We had a blast this past week because Jill and Brian came to town. They brought their new little bundle of joy, Owen Thomas, and of course the girlies. We've had fun visiting and on Saturday we took everyone to see Kung Fu Panda. We loved it and Jaxon actually sat through the movie and enjoyed it as well. I'm so excited he's starting to enjoy movies (as long as we don't let it go overboard!) I was surprised I liked Kung Fu Panda as much as I did. It was hilarious and a great mixture of martial arts techniques with slowing down in action parts and focusing in on facial expressions. Loved the animation. Our family took up a whole row in the movie theater and we had to save those seats like our lives depended on it! (It was a sold out showing on a Saturday afternoon so you can imagine the frustration we created with others!)

Today we were able to attend and participate in Owen's blessing at Jim and Kim's house. Although Kelly and some of her kids, John, and Richard and Jenny weren't there, there was a HOUSEFUL. As you can see, it's becoming harder and harder to have us all come together and keep our sanity. Jaxon loved playing with his cousins, but at the same time he liked to kind of go off by himself and do his own thing. Sometimes being around "all them guys" gets a bit intimidating to him. We couldn't get him to come in from the backyard, even though it was 105 degrees. When he'd come in and get a drink his poor little face was SO RED. We're glad he's adding his cute personality to the Krazy Keith Klan.
