My Day at the Phoenix Zoo!

Hi everybody! I thought I'd give my mom and dad a break from this blogging thing and tell you about my fun weekend with them at the zoo. That's right, I got to go to the Phoenix Zoo this weekend! I've been playing with all these toy animals for so long, I told dad that I should see the real deal, and they thought I was ready for it.

The first thing I noticed when we got there was the zoo makes good popcorn. I couldn't stop eating it all day, it was like my private movie theater from my stroller! We saw zebras, and flamingoes, and then elephants, turtles, wolves and vultures! My favorite was the rangtangs. They were so cool and they had a little baby. I tried to talk to the cheetah's but they were too sleepy. The rhino smelled really bad, and the lion roared. I tried to roar back but I don't think he understood me. I even got to see mommy and daddy ride a camel. Daddy pet some stingrays but my ams weren't long enough to reach. My favorite part was when dad let me run around on the ground by myself but I almost always got trampled so that didn't last very long.

At the end of the day I rode the merry-go-round with mommy and I rode on the cheetah! All in all I'd really recommend the zoo to my friends out there. Especially in January, the weather was perfect.

Well, I guess I'll go catch up on those z's I missed from all the excitement at the zoo! Tell all my baby friends out there "hi" for me!
