I can't believe our little baby boy is already a year old. I wish we could just package him up in a box and make him stop growing!! (just kidding!) It's just all going to fast. He was such a champ on his birthday: the absolute perfect boy! He unwrapped all his presents better than any one year old I've ever seen and he LOVED his birthday cake! We had a party at a new beautiful park in Gilbert called Discovery Park. Fun friends showed up: Lorianne, Elliot, and Shelby Rosengarten, Emily Romney, Alicia and Nate Langstraat (we missed you Curtis!) and her mom, and the good old Keith clan! So far I think his favorite toys (besides the party favors) are the giant leggos Ari and I got him. He's so funny, when he dug into his birthday cake he was really timid at first, but then really got into it. Ari and I both wanted to frost a cake, and so we had a bit of a contest (once again my Harry Potterisms coming out in me!) Her cake kicked my cakes trash! Frosting a cake is so tedious, I'm glad she's so good at it, I may retire the practice for me. :) Thank you all for your love and support! It will mean a lot to our little Jax one day, I'm sure!

Happy Birthday Jax!

Both cakes looked awesome! Way better than I can do. I tried to frost a Dora the Explorer cake for Kiley's 2nd b-day; it was awful. Really, it was the ugliest cake I've ever seen. The great part was that she was too young to know.
