If there's anything that you can't come between, it is me and my cable (and internet and phone service) for that matter. I just can't stand it when we're paying good money to have this service, and THINGS GO WRONG! Whenever I call these companies when there's a glich in the system, it seems like I spend HOURS waiting in a line of callers, and then usually I get transferred or hung up on by the telemarketer who takes the call. Now I know we shouldn't shoot the messenger, but sometimes I just really want to! I say this because our cable has gone out THREE times in the last month! One time was right before General Conference, and I really wanted it straightened out before then, and it was. . .but after the huge herendous effort of calling and waiting! Who else feels the same way?
Oh, and while we're at it. . .why can't the people who work at the credit card companies SPEAK ENGLISH! I swear. . .the one time you want to be able to really understand what's going on with your account and funds, and there's always a very hard Indian or Chinese accent to decipher through! I just don't get it!
